Email conversation with my son this afternoon:
Me: “Please mow the lawn this afternoon since you won’t be home tomorrow. I would REALLY appreciate that!”
Son: “sure thing”
Me: “You’re the best! :-D”
Son: “i know”
A few hours later…
Me: “Did you have a chance to mow yet? It’s looking gloomy here like it might rain soon. Does it look like rain there too?”
Son: “yes i have already mowed and man it is raining cats and dogs over here”
Me: “Well don't catch any cats or dogs because we don't want any pets - especially ones falling from the sky! :-)”
Son: “aawww why not (man i better find somewhere to hide this little puppy). no need to look in my closet in when you get home.”
